Greg McNichol has returned on bass in the aftermath of a sad series of events which took our beloved friend Jake Julius Jones away from our musical endeavors. We wish him the best, and welcome our ginger kid back.

This thursday we'll be opening for TAB the Band, fronted by Joe Perry's kids, which I gotta say, is mildly cool. I mean, Joe Perry is pretty legit. Our friends in the Lucas Joseph Collective will be opening that show, so get yourselves out to the North Star Bar and let's have a party. Details in the tour page.

Thanks largely to the efforts of BLT and his sister Brittany Townsend, we're planning a large party this weekend at the Funky Monkey in Wilmington, DE. Saturday, February 27th, neighbors - mark your calendars. The show will feature - yet again - Lucas Joseph (we REALLY like those guys), DJ Mindtrix, Spokey Speaky, Villains Like You, and obviously, our gracious selves.

We'll be entering the studio - a little later than planned, but we're still on the ball here - as soon as we finalize a new saxophone player. That's right, it really happened. Our plans to destroy Australia failed, and Jamie Capatch has made the move of a lifetime. We have a promising audition - tonight, in fact! - though, so we're not panicking.

Anyway, folks, I just thought I'd get an update up here. Keep strong, stay warm, and don't let the man get you down.

But when those things happen, you have an opportunity to show your true colors. Help Haiti. For those of you who aren't certain how you can help, I've compiled a short list of organizations - with links - who can accept contributions and give aid to those in need.

Yele - Begun my Wyclef Jean, Yele is giving 100% of all donations received to relief efforts, and can accept donations online. Yele.org

Download To Donate - musicforrelief.org has compiled a wonderful set of songs for the relief effort, and you are encouraged to purchase them. Linkin Park, Peter Gabriel, Slash, Alanis Morrisette, Hoobastank, The All American Rejects, Dave Matthews, and more combine their talents.

Red Cross - The Red Cross is always present in these situations, and their actions speak for themselves.

A much longer list of organizations, including local aid groups, can be found here.

There is no reason that you can't be a part of this healing process - not when it's as simple as the click of a button.

Much love,

Booking will slow appreciably during this time period, but will hopefully pick back up in earnest immediately afterward. We are hoping that this is the needed step to put us legitimately into the scene here in Philadelphia, and eventually beyond.

New music will be forthcoming, so be patient with us during this undertaking!

In other news, I would like to bid farewell to a very close friend - Moses Jiggets (Ag3nt MoE, The Man From Over There, The Mighty Third, Sonic Sentai RMXRNGRZ), a man of many talents, an extraordinary DJ, emcee and b-boy, a friend of overwhelming loyalty, and a person who consistently defied expectations and overbalanced the status quo. He will be dearly missed.
